As a child we never participated in Halloween activities. Well last year I carved my first pumpkin (see below) and this year, thanks to Alex’s aunt Carrie, Alex will be dressed up as a sunflower…how cute. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity for pictures…enjoy!!

Well its Monday again and back to the grind. The large storm system that passed through the Northeast kept us largely inside all weekend. We had some really nasty wind gusts that stripped leaves off all the trees (and into my yard where I will have to rake them). Anyways, here’s an update:

Why is it that I take a small vacation to a region experiencing record high temperatures (~92 F) only to return to a place having abnormally cool temperatures (~40 F). Thats a difference of over fifty degrees!
